Our client, a long-established business providing a bespoke service to the beverage industry countrywide, requires a Relief Service Delivery Driver in Dublin and surrounding counties, to join their team delivering hospitality specific products.

Your responsibility will be deliveries to the hospitality sector customers in your region. You will be expected to take full responsibility for your territory following a period of “on the job” training.


Job Description


  • Delivering products in a safe and effective manner to customers
  • Flexible in covering other maintenance activities (Minor service activity) (Co2 monitor surveys / Sales) to customers in the Hospitality market
  • Covering assigned territories out of the depot at the optimum frequency of deliveries, cylinder volumes and stocks through Territory Management Tool with weekly planning done in advance
  • Reaching daily delivery targets set on each route through planning and customer interaction
  • Carrying out surveys and service activity and promoting the sale of all products
  • Deliver and connect gas and remove empty cylinders with appropriate care and attention
  • Ensuring that all cylinders on customer premises are secure
  • Producing and checking all customer delivery documentation and monitoring and recording customer stock holdings of cylinders and equipment
  • Maintaining good communications with your customers and with the Customer Service Centre
  • Communicating closely with your line manager, Customer Service Centre and admin team
  • Candidate must be willing to travel which will require overnight stays.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A high level of safety awareness, ensuring safety remains the number one priority
  • The ability to manage a high level of housekeeping at the depot
  • High degree of self-motivation, flexibility, and commitment to high levels of customer service
  • At least 3 years multi-drop experience in class C vehicle or above
  • A full, clean driving licence (Class C)
  • An ADR licence and up to date CPC
  • You will have experience of operating a forklift
  • You will have a high level of personal integrity
  • Working knowledge of computers is highly desirable
